The duo “synfilums” comprised of Shin Kikuchi and Itoko Toma has composed the background music for their art exhibition in 2023, and the sound works will be released as an album from the Schole Records’ art director Shin Kikuchi’s private label “88 landscapes”.

This album is scattered with fragments of improvised piano sound recorded between rehearsals of the live performance held during the exhibition, and it is mixed pleasantly with the field recordings captured where the photographic works were produced, then sound textures were adjusted to match the exhibition. The sound works will drift gently in a relaxed space.

All proceeds will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society and other organisations involved in the 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake recovery activities.

This product can be stored in the synfilums “ReBorn:ReBirth” case.

Schole Records のアートディレクター菊地慎のプライベートレーベル「88 landscapes」より、菊地慎と当真伊都子によるデュオ「synfilums」が、2023年に行った作品展示の会場BGMのために制作した音楽作品をリリースします。

展示と合わせて行われたライブパフォーマンスのリハーサルの合間に即興的に演奏・録音されたピアノの断片を散りばめ、写真作品を撮影している現場で記録しておいたフィールドレコーディングを心地よくミックスし、展示作品に合わせて質感調整をした作品です。心休まる空間に優しく漂わせてもらいたい音楽です。

売上は令和6年能登半島地震の義援金として、日本赤十字社ならびに、復興活動をしている団体にお渡しさせて頂きます。
